The Flight Home is an art trail featuring life size herring gulls, each decorated in a way that reflects the history, heritage and culture of North Shields. Each gull has a QR code providing more information about the background of its subject matter and sharing stories about North Shields.
The gulls will be decorated by anyone who has a passion for North Shields (they do not have to be artists) and will be located in shops, cafes, pubs, art galleries etc throughout the North Shields area, encouraging people to visit our lovely town and learn more about what makes North Shields such a special place.
