The race sets off from The Parks Sports Centre in North Shields, passing by the Fish Quay, Tynemouth Priory and Castle and a long stretch of coastline, before finishing at St Mary’s Lighthouse in Whitley Bay.
Entry is £21 (£20 for affiliated club runners) and includes a goodie bag and branded race t-shirt.
The event is organised by North Tyneside Council and supported by Start Fitness.
